Item Notes:
This Ace F Series Novel is in the 'shorty', or pocket format which was popular in its time. It is what some collectors refer to as a 'Type 3' Double novel (short format with the spine titles being vertical in blue and white).

This wonderful example of early 1960's Sci Fi by Ace in Double ('dos-a-dos') format:
'Millenium Falcon -'
(See our FAQ for a description of our unique Sci Fi rating system.)
This one is falls into an 'in between' area - although the book has no writing and the covers are very clean - the tiniest little crease on the 'Suns' cover and smal crease on the upper corner of 'Goliath', due to, I imagine less than stellar manufacturing, the glue in the binding of the pages buckled and pulled away from the spine, even though the spine is very solid. There does not appear to be any reason for the book to come apart, what otherwise would likely have been a Bespin grade, now must be a Millenium Falcon minus. Still a great book that deserves to be in a good home in your Science Fiction library!
