Our rating for this highly desirable original double D-Series Ace Sci Fi novel:
(See our FAQ for a description of our unique Sci Fi rating system.)
Some chipping along spine edge. Nice amount of gloss for an almost half century old pulp novel. Minor reading creases along spine, both side. 'Weapon' has one diagonal corner crease. Minor tears on spine corners of 'Weapon' cover. 'Pirates' very clean. No writing in or out. This is certainly a collectible piece and offers a really affordable way to own cover art from Emsh, not to mention it is a fine example of late 1950's sci fi as a member of Ace's earliest (and many think, best quality) of double novels.
