Our rating for this highly desirable original double D-Series Ace Sci Fi novel:
(See our FAQ for a description of our unique Sci Fi rating system.)
Sadly, this book has seen a bit too much action, perhaps it too has been to the moon and back.
The cover is just about separated from the book, although it is in one piece yet. All the pages seem to be here while there are a few that are loose. The spine is missing a portion of itself and there is a small chunk missing from the very top on the 'City' cover.
All that said, this is certainly a collectible piece and I almost hate to offer it because it has such great cover art on both sides and represents such a fine example of late 1950's sci fi as a member of Ace's earliest (and many think best quality) of double novels.
